Are you going to find out if it’s a boy or a girl? We waited to find out, and it was fun. Even with the twins. Since our deliveries were both scheduled C-sections, we wanted to have a little bit of anticipation, since we weren’t going to have that, “Honey! It’s time!” moment.

Yeah we want to find out ahead of time. I’m not so good with surprises. And she’s planning a traditional birth at a hospital that is 45mins away on a good so I’ll have plenty of “oh shit! get out of my fucking way” time on the way to the hospital.

But then wouldn’t it take twice the time? The ambulance has to come from the hospital and back(the beauty of livin’ in the boonies). I know she’d be in better hands in the ambulance, but if there is some sort of emergency I’d like her to already be in the hospital and not in an ambulance.

Who knows where the ambulance is when you call? And they can come Code 3 if necessary, and be able to render aid immediately. If Luc Jr. pokes its head out half way to the hospital, what are you going to do? Push it back in? Since you live so far from the hospital, it might be worth talking to your OB/GYN about it.
